Fall is my absolute favorite season. I love the colors on the trees, now that I live in a place where the trees actually change colors.
I don't really like fall, because I begin to dread winter. But I LOVE pumpkins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the crisp air. It's such a relief from the humidity of summer.
And with the sun low in the sky, the colors in the trees are that much brighter.

One of my favorite things about fall is the baking... Apple pies, pumpkin pancakes, cranberry bread... Mmmm. :)

I am loving your different pumpkin paintings, Polly! And I love all things fall except the allergens! I love the cooler mornings and evenings, the changing leaves, the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks (trying to make my own this year!), fall foods like butternut squash soup, and all the yummy smells--cinnamon, cloves, etc. It's such a great season!

I love everything about fall except the imminence of winter. The colors I most often use for interior decorating are the warm fall colors so I enjoy it when nature displays them for a short time.
