5" by 7" acrylic on canvas. Available on SOLD
We've had over 50 straight days of above 100 degrees here in Abilene. All that sunshine has been great for lighting up still life set ups, but, we so desperately need rain.
I had good news today that Linda at River Oaks Gallery sold one large painting and three small ones! The large one, "A Romance" was a little hard to say goodbye too even though I've learned to let go of my work. It makes room for new work... both literally and emotionally.

Congratulations on your big sale! I love the top painting...Oh my gosh...I don't know how you do it!
This looks like it was a joy to create. I love this bright & happy painting. I signed up to follow your blog and can't wait to see what develops.
Sheri, Thank you!! It's great to hear from a fellow Texan artist. Enjoyed your blog too:)
It's a fabulous painting. I used to be the same way about my work but it's easier to let them go now. I'm confident that I can paint another in most cases.
Mary, I have been away from the easel for a month now and feel I've forgotten how to paint another.
