Candy Corn, Last Man Standing

I'm back after a long absence from posting. I have been working on a larger painting as well as doing other art related things. I hung the Big Country Annual Art show at the Cockerell Building (a great art space) This show is scheduled to be online, I'll put a link in when that happens. I was pleased to get a work included in the show. Today I finished this little 5" by 5" acrylic on stretched canvas. It was fun to paint. I have to admit this is last years candy corn I found in my cupboard. It pretty much tastes just like it did last year. It will be up for sale in my Etsy store. SOLD

Go Polly! I like the concept. Classy, seasonal and simple.

Hi, Polly! I've been lurking on your blog for a while without commenting. I love your work! I wish I had seen this one before it sold; I LOVE candy corn! If you do another painting with candy corn, please let me know. I look forward to seeing you at supper club next week!
