I had let this painting sit for months, not sure how to do resolve it. Perhaps it's harder to be objective when the subject matter is people. The image I used to paint from was an old photograph that was in a huge stack that I inherited. I wish I knew what the story was here...my mother and her aunt sitting on a suitcase beside the road in the West Texas expanse of land and sky. 11" by 14" acrylic mixed media on wood panel.
