Sweet William in a Jar by Polly Jones

I scavenged some flowers from one of my barely hanging in there pot plants for this.  There's nothing blooming in the yard.  I love the names of flowers and wonder how this one got the name "Sweet William" also known as pinks.  You can see the graph paper and a map table peeking through.  It's a way of referring to the underlying order of life. 

Sold.

Thank you Laura! As I painted it I was thinking how it wasn't exactly seasonal, but some times you just got to have fun with pink!
