Pumpkin painting redo

Noah Project pumpkin painting by Polly Jones
Hello all, it's been so long since I've painted, much less posted anything here.  It's been a crazy, hard time for my family.  We lost both my parents this year.  Knowing they are in a better place makes all the difference... but there's still a big hole here.

This painting is a redo of an older one that never felt quite right.  I can't find the old photo of the old version. It was part of a silent auction for a really great cause called Noah Project.

So sorry to hear about your loss, Polly. The missing is just so hard.

Lovely little pumpkin. I'm going to have to get one of your pumpkins someday. I still remember one of your early ones that I let get away. :)

Thank you Kathleen! I recently found a little thank you note I had left out of the last painting you bought. Keep tuned for my annual pumpkin painting giveaway. Maybe you will win one:)

Polly, love the newsprint with the pumpkin. Sorry for your loss. I had a big loss this year too and I find my art very helpful. Keep painting.

Thank you Jill Rae. You are so right about art being a key part of healing. Thanks for your encouragement!
