I'm going to be taking a break from posting on the blog for a little while.  Also, my Etsy store will be on vacation.  You may still contact me through my email at pollyjonesart@gmail.com. and I'll be back sharing work some time in July.  I'm planning on doing some outdoor landscape painting in the mean time.  Thank you so much for taking time to look at my work, I feel honored and humbled by your interest.  Some of you have been with me since 2006! 

Progression and Some Day at The Center for Contemporary Arts

30" by 40" acrylic mixed media painting on canvas. (sold)  I showed a progress photo of this here a while back. I'm really happy with the finished piece, though it is nothing like the ephemeral, mostly white painting I had imagined when beginning.   "Progression" as well as the painting below are part of a new work by Signature Artist Members show at The Center for Contemporary Arts here in Abilene.  There will be an opening during ArtWalk on May 8th.  Hope to see you there!
