For some reason, the structure of the dahlia made me think about the term "Memory Palace" It's a phrase I heard the other day. (okay, it was on the TV show "The Mentalist") It's a term for a memory technique. You create a story made from visual tags that relate to what you are trying to remember, creating an imaginary story that is then easy to recall. Even though this is something I have never attempted, I just love the way it sounds.
